[View of the south windows]

During the high winds in March 2004 one of the blackthorn trees was blown down.Thankfully it missed the church and the only damage done was the three tiles came of the roof. The tree left a hole in the garden and several more divots out of the grass where the boughs had crashed. Bob had this sorted out, and in no time the tree was sawn up and the wood taken to elderly folk in North Pickenham, and the frith was burnt in a neighbouring field. However with the tree now gone you can get a far better view of the south windows which were restored last year.
